She is married to her wonderful and God fearing husband Abimbola Oye for 21 years and they are blessed with a set of twins Boluwatife and Boluwatiwi who are both juniors in college. Her husband Abimbola fondly called Bola is the parish pastor of the Joyful Assembly Parish in Joliet, Illinois.
Tola joined Impact Press as an executive director in 1990 in Lagos, Nigeria. In this role Tola was in charge of the day to day running of this printing and packaging press who was known and rated as one of the best printing press for its quality and customer satisfaction. Amongst the clientele where, ExxonMobil, Shell Oil, Agip Oil, Zenon Oil, Chevron, Cadbury to mention a few.
Tola relocated to Chicago in the United States of America in 1999 and has worked in various places before joining BP in 2004. She is currently a business development and commercial coordinator for the BP Pipelines (NA) Inc.; which team provides support in the areas of asset management and business development for BP Pipelines. In this role, Tola has worked on acquisitions and divestments, asset management, managing customer relationships and developing strategic business plans for BP Pipelines’ businesses. She is secretary of the board of directors for two of the Joint Venture Companies of the Pipeline business. Tola has also assumed various leadership roles in safety, and D&I activities at BP.
Tola is a keen entrepreneur, an encourager; impacting people by bringing out the best in them. She has a passion for mentoring and training people to live a debt free life by living on Kingdom principles and realistic budget. She is a volunteer budget coach with the Crown Financial Ministry since 2006. |
