Jide Lawore was born in Nigeria into a Christian home; both parents are committed members in their local Baptist Church. He started to teach and preach at the age of 19, a year after he gave his life to Christ as a freshman college student. After his conversion, he immediately began to sense the call of God upon his life as he began to voraciously study the bible and read many Christian literatures.

 He was greatly influenced by the books of men of God like Watchman Nee, Derek Prince, Kenneth Hagin, R.B.Thieme among others. Consequently, the Lord began to open doors of opportunities for him to teach and he continued to develop his teaching ministry as a student and after his graduation.

He migrated to the United States in 1998 and a year later joined RCCG Dominion Chapel, New Jersey in 1999. Within a year the grace of God upon his life became evident; he was invited to be part of the Church ministerial team and began to teach and preach the word on a regular basis. His life-changing messages endeared him to many in the church. He was subsequently ordained a Deacon and for about five years he was in charge of various ministries namely Singles Ministry, Teens’ Ministry, Marriage Ministry, Core Professional Group, Counseling Ministry, Hospitality Ministry and Workers-In-Training. He also successfully led a building fundraising campaign that resulted in raising money among the congregants to acquire a $1.7 Million auditorium.

 In February 2006, the Lord called him to start RCCG Agape House of Worship, a growing and innovative Church in Roselle New Jersey where he is currently the Lead Pastor. He has the grace of teaching and a genuine love for people which is evident in how he communicates the word of God in a simple, practical, compassionate but insightful manner. He is also passionate about providing and developing quality leadership in the body of Christ which lead him to develop a leadership course titled: “LEADERSHIP, SERVANTHOOD & DISCIPLESHIP” for Redeemers Leadership Institute.

Pastor Jide is a bi-vocational Pastor; he holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria and a master’s degree in Engineering Management from New Jersey Institute of Technology, Newark NJ. He is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and works as a Senior Project Control Engineer involved in managing several multimillion dollar heavy construction projects. He is happily married to his lovely wife, Bimbo Lawore and they are blessed with three lovely children.
